The summit, held on 19th October at Banking Hall, London, will see two internationally renowned architects present their visions on the digital transformation of the architecture industry.
GROHE UK is delighted to host its first dialogue for the architecture and design community with the theme “The convergence of analogue and digital: Architecture in the age of digital representation”. The GROHE Dialogue Series will explore how digitisation is transforming all industries, including architecture, and how this development will have a tremendous impact on how future buildings will be designed and used.
Led by world-renowned architects Patrik Shumacher of Zaha Hadid Architects and world-leading ecological architect Christoph Ingenhoven, the summit will bring together opinion leaders of the construction and property sector to shed light on issues that concern us all. Questions such as “Who - or what - will design and build a house in 30 years?” and “Are increasingly digital and production processes a chance for architects to head in a new direction?” will be raised and discussed at this fascinating summit.
Glynn Payne, Head of Projects at GROHE UK comments, “As a worldwide partner to the architecture sector, we like to stay ahead of current industry developments that are relevant to us all. We are delighted to welcome Patrick Schumacher and Christoph Ingenhoven to present their visions on how technology will continue to impact design and build processes”.
The moderation of the event will be conducted by Paul Finch, Founder and Programme Director of the World Architecture Festival, where GROHE will return as founding partner (worldarchitecturefestival.com).
The GROHE Dialogue Series will be held on Thursday 19th October at The Banking Hall in Cornhill, London EC3V 3ND. Admittance is from 6:30pm with the debate starting at 7:00pm.
