Baths in bedrooms are mainly seen in boutique hotels but in homes they are pure luxury. Of course, we’re not talking about a full bathroom suite open to the bedroom, some privacy is still necessary, but a lovely freestanding bathtub setting the scene is pure bedroom/bathroom beauty.
This black and white rolltop bath works beautifully with this grey-toned bedroom.
This bath has been placed close to the bed, so that when the pocket sliding doors are open, the rooms blend together and it creates a seamless look.
The organic shape of this modern freestanding bath perfectly fits the bay window and makes good use of an often redundant space.
Here is another bathroom sectioned off from the bedroom with a useful sliding door. The door is part of a unit of book shelves, thus creating a sumptuous bathing-reading-resting haven.
This gorgeous lofty bedroom is made even more complete with freestanding bath and platform bed.
Here is another lofty bedroom enhanced by the addition of a beautiful curved freestanding bath.
In this bedroom/bathroom combination, colour has been used to section off the different areas and the exposed brass shower head and taps are a stylish feature.
In this spa-like room they have used billowing curtains to screen off the bathroom from the bedroom, thus softening the overall look.
The white bath in this all-white room becomes recessive but creates a lovely layering of textures.
